RackData LLC ("RackData," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RackData mobile application and website at rackdata.io (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:

- ●Trail cam photos: Images you upload for analysis. Stored securely and used solely to provide the HerdMind AI analysis service.
- ●Hunting data: Stand locations, property information, sighting records, RackLog entries, and notes you enter in the app.
Information collected automatically:

- ●Usage data: Features used, screens viewed, and interaction patterns to improve the Service.
- ●Push notification token: If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver movement alerts and activity summaries.
How We Use Your Information

Trail Cam Photos and HerdMind AI
Photos you upload are transmitted to Google's Gemini API for AI analysis. By uploading photos, you acknowledge that image data is processed by Google's API under their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not use your photos to train third-party models beyond what is required for the analysis service.
Photos may be retained on our servers to support your sighting history and to improve HerdMind accuracy over time. You can delete your photos at any time from within the app.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- ●Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google (AI analysis via Gemini API), Amazon Web Services (file storage), and Expo (push notifications). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- ●Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of RackData, our users, or others.
- ●Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to you.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Photos, sighting records, and RackLog entries are retained as long as your account exists unless you delete them. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Location Information
Stand and property location data you enter is stored in your account. We do not share your specific hunting locations with other users or third parties without your consent. This information remains private to your account.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage (AWS S3), and authenticated API access to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
